I honestly can’t figure out why I can’t seem to keep up with sharing our adventures. I almost can’t stand getting on Facebook at all anymore. There is SO much negative energy that it’s quite sad, really. Is it that I don’t have the time? Do I not have a good connection and enough speed? (That really is the case a LOT of the time, like right now!) I don’t know really. What I do know is that we are almost 3 years into this crazy nomadic lifestyle and I could not be happier and more full of joy. I also find that the less time I stay connected to the outside world via social media that I am much happier. Yet, I have this desire to share my experiences and adventures – to inspire others with this lifestyle. And it’s ALL of our lifestyle, too. It’s our travels and how we care for ourselves, our diet, our use of natural solutions for wellness and healing, homeschooling, faith, marriage, parenting, and just general life as nomads. We are VERY FAR from perfect, but we have figured a few things out.
That all being said, the posts on our blog may not be in the order in which they happened. I share when I can with the images I have available. There is SO. MUCH. TO. SHARE. I will keep sharing and I’m getting better at it. It’s just rather time consuming, but this blog is for me and my family so that I have a record of this awesome adventure that has become a chosen lifestyle for us.
Just before my mom passed away in March, we were in Tuscon and went to Saguaro National Park. I had no idea how to pronounce this cactus. It is pronounced Sa-WAH-ro. They are AMAZING!!!!! They are so much bigger and more beautiful than I ever imagined. I was truly fascinated by these cacti. The tallest one ever recorded was 78 feet tall, but it fell in 1986. The tallest recorded one now is 58 feet tall. We got to see petroglyphs and numerous other types of cacti. It was a really neat experience. I love these things!!!
After Saguaro, we headed over to Phoenix to attend Brendon Burchard’s High-Performance Academy. Almost everywhere in Phoenix was booked, so we were an hour north of town at a beautiful park called Lake Pleasant, and that it was!!!! The beauty of this country is so vast and amazing.
That’s all for now 🙂 More posts coming soon as I’m ALREADY working on them!! I also resurrected my Instagram account. You can find me at chronicnomadness. Later!
