Arches National Park: Absolutely Breathtaking- 10/18
Arches.…..oh where do I start? There are more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches located in this park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world and received more than 1.6 million visitors in 2018! Whoa…..
When you arrive you understand why so many people make the trek to Utah to this amazing place. Our first trip in December 2018 was just me with the boys as Mike had to work. It was a chilly day and a bit overcast, but we got to see good bit since crowds were low. There were a few things we wanted to save for our visit with Daddy. The boys and I had a great time!

We made it back to Moab and then into Arches with Mike in October of 2018. It was pretty spectacular. The weather was amazing and perfect for being out all day. We decided to do the Delicate Arch hike with him. I’m glad we waited because it was worth it! Ww ended up having to hike ALL the way down into the bowl under the arch since Brooks dropped his water bottle and we had to go fetch it. It was pretty sketchy getting around the arch!

It was such a memorable day. It’s always better when Mike is with us, too 🙂 Until next time……..Arches!!
There are 2 other parks fairly close by that are worth checking out. Canyonlands is a short drive and Capitol Reef is a little bit more of a drive but TOTALLY worth it. See why Capitol Reef is one of our top parks.
