Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks : 5/18
We headed to Kings Canyon & Sequoia in mid May. They are technically separate parks but they are joined together physically. It was pretty amazing. Actually, it was quite mind-blowing. These trees are ginormous!! We could put at least 4 of our houses in many of them. That’s insane! If you’ve never seen these sequoias, I HIGHLY encourage you to experience these majestic and awe-inspiring beauties. I’m SO glad we didn’t pass this up! Mike didn’t go the first day with us because of work, so we MADE him go the next morning. He could not believe how big these trees were. He thought we were “embellishing” a little bit! LOL That’s HIS department 🙂
These parks were such a wonderful surprise. I have been really pleased and a little surprised at how much the boys love the parks and learning about all the stuff. They can truly appreciate magnificent views and amazing waterfalls and they love the outdoors. We hope we have instilled in them a deep love for adventure because we are just getting started! LOL
Until next time….
